“THE GREAT ESCAPE?!” Leicester’s Board Finally Deliver a Masterclass—and Pundits Are STUNNED Into Silence as Shock Relegation Prediction Sparks Foxes Frenzy!

Leicester City hierarchy receive uncommon ‘proactive’ acclaim as drop zone forecast issued

Leicester City are positioned in the bottom three of the Championship but might not actually be in as dire a state as some of their competitors.

Danny Murphy insists West Brom are in more danger of relegation to League One than Leicester City.

The pundit believes Gary Rowett’s appointment at the King Power Stadium has given the Foxes the advantage in what is sure to be a tense few months for both clubs.

While City have their new manager in place, Albion are under the temporary guidance of former player James Morrison after dismissing Eric Ramsay following Tuesday’s draw with Charlton Athletic.

The ex-Minnesota United boss lasted merely nine games and failed to win any of them, leaving the Baggies just one point and one spot ahead of Rowett’s outfit.

Despite still being in the relegation zone, pending the outcome of their appeal against a points deduction, City do at least appear to be gathering a little bit of momentum after two encouraging performances under Rowett.

Albion seem to be in collapse and Murphy fears for them. He told talkSPORT : “They were 18th when he inherited them, to be fair to him, but they’ve got enough quality in that squad to be in a better position than they are.

“The Leicester situation’s a bit different, obviously they’re down there because they’ve had the points deduction, you could argue their squad’s better.

“You could also argue that, well, not argue – factually, Leicester if they got relegated to League One would be a much bigger story. It wasn’t so long ago to winning the Premier League and the FA Cup.

“But I think they’ve been really proactive in bringing Gary Rowett in. I like him, we spoke about that last week and two good results they’ve had.

“They’ll be disappointed at the weekend because they were winning until injury time, so I’d say West Brom look more in trouble than Leicester at the moment.”
