Leicester City are looking to escape the bottom three with a home game against improving Norwich , but the big talking point is the return of a fan favourite.

Gary Rowett takes charge of a Leicester City home match for the first time this lunchtime with the Foxes looking for their first win under his management.

The former City defender replaced Marti Cifuentes less than two weeks ago, since when he has overseen away draws with Stoke and Middlesbrough.

So the big news is Fatawu is straight back into the starting XI after recovering from injury, with Stephy Mavididi dropping to the bench. The Ghanaian winger, who was a key creative force during last season’s promotion charge with 13 assists , gets the nod on his return.

Mavididi, who had little impact at Middlesbrough in midweek, finds himself among the substitutes despite recently being described as City’s “biggest attacking threat” in some games . The numbers tell a story though — Fatawu has racked up 14 goals and assists this season compared to Mavididi’s three , highlighting the firepower Rowett has been missing.
