    Ben Nelson leads a reshuffled Leicester City side with Victor Kristiansen making his first appearance since November as one of six alterations for the FA Cup.

    With neither City skipper Ricardo Pereira nor vice-captain Hamza Choudhury involved, Nelson assumes the armband at Southampton.
    He features in a back line that sees several adjustments, with Kristiansen introduced at left-back for his first appearance since knee surgery.

    On the opposite flank, Bade Aluko starts at the venue where he was sent off earlier this campaign.

    The central defensive pairing of Nelson and Caleb Okoli remains intact, with no Jamaal Lascelles in the squad, and they will line up in front of Jakub Stolarczyk, who returns between the posts.

    There is a single switch in midfield, as Louis Page comes in for Harry Winks. Oliver Skipp and Divine Mukasa retain their spots, the latter aided by rule changes this season that mean he is not cup-tied despite featuring for Man City in the previous round.

    There are two alterations in the attacking trio, with Jeremy Monga declared fit to start in place of Abdul Fatawu, who misses out on the squad, and Jordan Ayew coming in for Patson Daka. Stephy Mavididi maintains his position on the left wing.

    With neither Fatawu nor Lascelles included, centre-back Kevon Gray is named among the substitutes and would make his debut should he take to the field.

    City (4-3-3): Stolarczyk; Aluko, Okoli, Nelson, Kristiansen; Skipp, Page, Mukasa; Monga, Ayew, Mavididi.
